“Someday, Somehow, Somewhere!”

Is it in the touch?
I’m reminded of what was far too much.
Some of us yearn for connection while others destroy theirs.
Unaware, can you fill that void?
I still believe that there’s a place for us.
Someday, somehow, somewhere!

This poem of connection contemplates the essence of human touch as a powerful reminder of past experiences, whether they were overwhelming or perhaps too intense. The verses delve into the dichotomy of individuals yearning for connection while acknowledging the destructive tendencies that some may exhibit, often unaware of the impact on their relationships. I question the potential to fill the void left by these interactions, expressing an enduring belief that there is still a place for connection. The poem carries a sense of hope and anticipation, looking towards an uncertain future with the conviction that, "someday, somehow, somewhere," meaningful connections will be rediscovered. The language evokes a mix of introspection, nostalgia, and optimism, and I invite you all to reflect on the complexities of human relationships.
